Razer Opus wireless headphones feature THX certificate

Razer has been known for its laptops and gaming accessories, but it has now announced something a bit outside of that scope with its new pair of wireless noise-canceling headphones. The new Razer Opus headphones have features that compare to those of the most famous Sony and Bose wireless headphones that have been considered the best on the market, but for a much more affordable price.

One of the first features that must be mentioned regarding the new Razer Opus headphones is the THX certification. In practice, this allows the users to use the Opus phone app and experiment with the EQ preset based on their own preference of bass and mids presence. Furthermore, you can view the battery status in the app too. Being wireless headphones, the battery life of Razer’s new pair is very important and they don’t disappoint with a solid 25-hours battery life which will last you almost a full week of regular use.

Talking about the design, Razer Opus has foam cushions that will comfortably sit on your ears throughout the day. Moreover, the headband is designed to decrease the pressure usually experienced with over the ear headphones making them a comfortable choice. On the side, they feature a Quick Attention mode button that allows you to jump out of the ANC and hear your surroundings.

Razer Opus wireless headphones are already available for purchase. The price is set at $199.99 which is half of the price of the previously mentioned headphones by Sony and Bose that have been sweeping the market in the past few years, but with very similar and appealing features. At the moment, they are available only in the Midnight Blue color option, but a Black version is going to be released in the upcoming months.
