Details of Upcoming FiiO BTA30 Emerge
As the consumer electronics market is slowly moving towards adopting more wireless solutions, the innovation of such wireless products as increased substantially over the last couple of years. And yet, one area which seems to have been slower to adopt and engineer wireless technology is in the enthusiast end pro audio segment. It’s true, at least thus far, that wireless audio tech cannot quite yet match fully-wired systems in terms of raw audio quality, but that gap is closing with each passing day. One manufacturer in particular whom has embraced Bluetooth audio is FiiO, and they’ve created quite a number of Bluetooth audio products to date. Today they’ve released some details and renders of one such upcoming product, which is called the BTA30.
Whilst FiiO predominantly focuses on portable audio products, they’ve also got a fair number of desktop-orientated products in their portfolio. The BTA30 is set to be one such product, and it packs quite a number of extremely useful and versatile features.
The introduction of the BTA30 which FiiO posted on Head-Fi has stated the following:
” We are developing a multifunctional hifi bluetooth product for desktop, which can be used with your desktop headphone amp, old-version amplifier or active speakers.
You can enjoy high-quality listening experience through Bluetooth connection with mobile phones and music players. In addition, BTA30 has independent DAC and Bluetooth transmitting function, you can use it to connect TV with Bluetooth headset.
BTA30 has three working modes:
Mode 1- BT RX: High-quality LDAC and aptX-HD Bluetooth receiver, then connected to the power amplifier, headphone amplifier or active speaker through RCA / Optical / Coaxial
Mode 2 – DAC : High-performance DAC equipment, support Optical / Coaxial digital input to RCA analog output, connect to old-version amplifier or active speakers
Mode 3- BT TX: High-quality, long-range Bluetooth transmission, converted to Bluetooth transmission through Optical / Coaxia, connect headphones to enjoy music ”
FiiO have not yet stated when they expect to have the BTA30 hit full production, and likewise we’ve not seen any mention of the estimated price either.
