Xbox Series X: The Most Powerful Gaming Console

Microsoft has officially announced its newest gaming console that will be released next year. Initially known as the “Project Scarlett” the new Xbox Series X gaming console is going to be significantly more powerful than the Xbox One X, making it the most powerful console on the market. Here are the most important features and the design of the new Xbox.

The first and probably most obvious difference, at first sight, is the change in the design as the new Xbox Series X is more of a rectangular tower, rather than a rectangular box we are used to until now from the previous generations. But, even though the box is quite tall, you are able to position it vertically or horizontally, depending on the space it is intended to fit into.

Talking about the performance and the features, Series X is expected to have twice the GPU power of One X, custom CPU, support for 4K at 60FPS, SSD, ray tracing, as well as ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and DLI (Dynamic Latency Input) that will significantly improve the responsiveness of the new gaming console.

The wireless controller that comes alongside Xbox Series X at first seems relatively similar to that of One X, but will have a couple of improved features you can count on. Except the slight design change, more particularly the decrease in size, the new controller is also going to have a share button for screenshots and videos and a hybrid d-pad. There are also mentions of improvements in latency when it comes to overall performance. The controller is going to be compatible with all existing Xbox

When it comes to the launch date, Microsoft revealed only that it is going to be revealed for holidays next year, without announcing the actual date. Price is most likely going to be revealed alongside the release date, so stick around at Samma3a Tech for more updates on this information.
