Yamaha’s new low price sub-woofers get the same port design as the 2000$ flagship

Yamaha  recently released their new flagship subwoofers, which has a new innovative “twisted flare port” that’s designed to give a better diffusion for airflow through the port, therefore reducing the noise created by air turbulence, giving a “clear and tighter bass”.

Now, Yamaha announced their new low-priced subs with the same “twisted flare port”, named NS-SW050 ($170) and NS-SW100 ($200), both offering a 50 watt power amplifier (rated at 5 ohms, 10% THD) and a support system that adjusts bass response dynamically to improve the accuracy and stability of the bass output.

The NS-SW050 comes in 11.5 x 11.5 x 13.4 inches, weighing 18.7 pounds with an 8-inch cone and a rated bandwidth of 28-200 Hz. While the NS-SW100 comes in 14 x 14 x 16 inches, weighing 26.5 pounds with a 10-inch cone and a rated bandwidth of 25-180 Hz.

The new Yamaha low price subwoofers 2017 added to the current growing line of Yamaha subwoofers reaching up to 12 models ranging in price from $100 to $2,000, most of these are under the 500$ price tag. to learn more about this you can visit the official Yamaha website.
