Adidas Z.N.E. 01 ANC are the latest sports earbuds

In collaboration with Zound Industries, Adidas has launched new pairs of true wireless earbuds specifically designed for sport-lovers. The new buds, especially the flagship model Adidas Z.N.E. 01 ANC, deliver many features necessary for a successful workout. Moreover, they are not only well designed but also allow you to stay in the zone and focus.

Adidas Z.N.E. 01 ANC

Starting with the design of the flagship Z.N.E. 01 buds, they are compact with a stem-shaped extension that houses the microphones. Both the earbuds and the charging case have a matching gray design with the white Adidas logo. As it is the case with most earbuds, there are three different bud sizes that you can choose for a more comfortable and secure fit throughout the workout.

Considering Adidas is a sports brand, it is of no surprise that the features of the new earbuds lineup mostly pertain to those useful during workouts. This also includes the active noise canceling feature that allows you to focus on your workout and music without being disturbed by ambient noise. However, there is also the Awareness mode that you can easily switch to if you do need to pay more attention to your surroundings.

Another feature that is added to having workouts in mind is the IPX5 water and sweat resistance that protects the earbuds from damage throughout the day. Thanks to the charging case, in addition to the 4.5 hours of playback time off a single charge, you get three additional full charges you can rely on. Finally, if you want to customize your features and controls, you can check out the Adidas Headphones app on Google Play or App Store.

Adidas Z.N.E. 01

The second pair of true wireless earbuds released by Adidas is the Adidas Z.N.E. 01. This model cuts back on some of the features, but also comes at almost half of the price. First off, it doesn’t have the ANC feature but that is replaced by a wireless charging feature that allows you to use a wireless charging pad instead of USB-C charger. When it comes to battery life, you can also expect around 20 hours of playback time in total including the charging case.

In addition to this, the actual design of the earbuds is a bit different too. Instead of having soft silicone buds, this model actually has a hard ergonomic housing that easily fits and stays secure in your ears during a workout. Lastly, although this model has water protection, it has only an IPX4 rating making it sweat and splash proof, but not exactly waterproof.

Adidas Z.N.E. 01 ANC buds are available on the company’s website in two colorways: Night Grey and Light Gray, and are priced at $189. Alternatively, if you are in for a more affordable model, the Z.N.E. 01 earbuds are available on the website for $99, but only in Night Grey.
