AKG Y600NC bring noise cancellation to the Y Series

AKG’s Y series has been known to offer comfortable and affordable headphones, but the company has finally added a new, more premium model to the bunch. The new Y600NC headphones, obviously from the name, offer active noise cancelling feature among others. So, stick around while we show you everything you need to know about the new AKG Y600NC model.

The first and more significant feature of the Y600NC headphones is the signature AKG sound which means you are in for a treat when it comes to sound performance with deep bass and rich mid-tones. You will be able to enjoy your favourite music even more with the Active Noise Cancelling feature, but still maintain the connection with the outside works with the Ambient Aware feature. Finally, the headphones are also compatible with other voice assistants except for only Bixby, so you will be able to rely on Google Assistant too. 

Talking about the design, even though they might seem bulky, Y600NCs offer lasting comfort thanks to the memory foam ear cups and the lightweight frame. The memory foam further reduces the loud ambient noise even if your ANC is off. Moreover, they are foldable meaning you won’t struggle with carrying them around as they can simply be folded and placed in any bag. Lastly, they come with a cable in case you still need to use them but they are out of charge. 

When it comes to the battery life, you can easily count on up to 25 hours of playback time even with the ANC on, while it can rise up to 35 hours if you don’t use this feature as much. And thanks to quick charging, you can quickly get 4 hours of playback time from only 10 minutes of charging. 

AKG Y600NC headphones are going to be available for sale on Samsung’s website and priced at around $200. There are three color options to choose from: classic Black, Silver, and Gold.
