DUO turntable has wireless speaker included in a compact design

As vintage is going back to style, vinyl is as well. DUO turntable is one of the latest Kickstarter project that doubles as a turntable, but also a wireless speaker, all in one.

DUO turntable is designed as a compact hybrid device that will let you play your favorite vinyl records wirelessly, without worrying about owning an expensive stereo system. You will not even need an additional amplifier as it already has a phono and power amps in itself. Further on enhancing the high-quality sound is the Audio-Technica AT3600L cartridge combined with a high-precision tonearm. Talking about the size, the DUO turntable is only a quarter of the size of a standard turntable but you will be able to play all common vinyl record sizes without any problem.

Besides having turntable elements that bring up the sound quality of the DUO, the speaker also features 2 full-range drivers and 2 low-frequency passive radiators that together bring up the powerful bass. With DUO turntable, you can also connect your smartphone to the speaker using Bluetooth and play your favorite tunes that way. Being your phone or the vinyl, you can be 10-15 meters away from the music source and still enjoy the high-quality sound. You can even create stereo sound if you connect two DUO turntable speakers together. The battery life is also quite good with around 10 hours of playback time of the portable speaker.

DUO turntable is available on crowdfunding website Kickstarter where you can back the whole project and at the same time purchase the turntable itself. The price for Early Bird offer is $229, while the Kickstarter offer is $259, both of which get you a DUO turntable and a protective cover. You can also buy a stereo pack for $299 that comes with an additional Bluetooth speaker. The shipping is expected for December this year. The color option is Vibrant Orange, Neon Yellow or a classic Jet Black.
