The Falcon Reference speaker: flagship by Falcon Acoustics

Falcon Acoustics is mostly known by its very wide selections of parts for audio devices which were developed and perfected for decades. But, stepping out of their routine, they have released their new flagship speaker, The Falcon Reference speaker. Even though they are a small company, they have created a very high-end speaker made specifically for the truest audiophiles.

It is very hard to mention everything about the Falcon Reference speaker as it was so invested in its every detail. As the company was dealing with the development of materials, based on the long experience, they have incorporated Graphene into the cone material and by using the Falcon Sonaweave Graphene Enhanced Nano-Platelet Cone, therefore improved response time of the drivers. Besides this, the cones were also made lighter and thinner but with improve rigidity and damping. What was the result? Wait until you hear the bass.

The whole speaker unit is designed with very low distortion levels, and due to the 2 inches dome midrange and the ribbon tweeter, it offers an amazing acoustical response. Of course, Falcon did not stop there with its flagship speaker, as the Falcon Reference speaker has many other incorporated features such as additional damping, minimized distractions, heat sinks, etc. Even the back of the speaker got its fair share of engineering with heat sinks and specifically designed back plate. Falcon Reference speaker also features a smoked glass top and top-grade aluminum details and metal work.

It’s expected price is going to be around $25,000 with an option between Walnut and Mahogany real wood veneers. For a bit higher price, you also get the option of exotic wood veneers as well as high-gloss one in any RAL color you wish. The Falcon Reference speaker will be available from October this year, first being debuted at the Rocky Mountain Audio Festival in the US at the beginning of the month.
