Apple Music update with Android Auto support available now

We have recently shone a light on Android Auto on Samma3a Tech blog, explaining exactly what it is, what are its features and how it can become a part of your everyday car journey. At that time, for approximately a month, Apple was already in the beta stage of integration with the Google’s Android Auto, working on allowing Apple Music to be an option besides Google Play Music or Spotify. Now, Apple Music update with Android Auto support is available to download.

Even though Apple’s CarPlay is a direct rival to Google’s Android Auto, the company is still making steps in good faith. Even though for Google fans this might be strange as they have still not even added YouTube Music to their in-car interface, Google has already made a step by adding Google Maps, it’s ever famous web mapping service, to CarPlay after the release of latest iOS 12.

In order to use Apple Music through the Android Auto, you need the latest versions of both apps on your smartphone, including the newest Apple Music update and at least 2.6.0 version of Android Auto. This will make Apple Music your first choice for music and radio streaming. It also supports microSD card storage and will help you find a song based on lyrics you got stuck in your head.
