FiiO Shows Off Potential K7 DAC/AMP Render
Up to this point, FiiO have produced numerous portable and desktop audio products. However, as this is an expanding market, the sheer performance and quality of products being produced by competing manufacturers is ever on the rise. For a while now, FiiO have been rumoured to be working on a new desktop audio solution for some time, but now were are finally getting to see a few potential glimpses of what might be the resultant product – the K7.
In FiiO’s Head-Fi post they’ve stated “After the K3 and K5Pro went on the market, we received a lot of planning consultations about more advanced desktop DAC& K7. Some people care about the performance of the amp, and others care about the extended capabilities of the product. Indeed, in these two aspects, there are still many improvements when upgrade K5Pro to K7.
In order to make products that better meet your needs , we open the plan and look forward to your feedback.”

It will be interesting to see if FiiO can manage to cram so many features and functionality into the K7, as that would surely make it one of the most value-packed desktop audio solutions available on the market, and hopefully one of the best performing ones too.
Since the K7 is still in the very early stages of product design, no specific indication of when it’s expected to be released has been mentioned.
