It’s here after more than two years since FiiO have released the X3 and following the great reputation it had among audiophile communities, the all-new X3 2nd generation is finally here all other Daps beware, with an X1 inspired design and improved audiophile grade components, the X3 2nd generation is released, with new refined glossy titanium coating, Improved and responsive UI, and the widest range of audio codec support including native DSD decoding,this new X3 puts all affordable DAPs in the market to the challenge for the best DAP in the 200$ range.

All new CIRRUS LOGIC LOGIC CS4398 DAC chip, the same chip used in Astell&Kern flagship the AK240, and all new TEXAS INSTRUMENTS Amp circuit the X3II is able to produce a super natural and musical sound.

FiiO really did some great improvement with the X3 both on hardware and firmware, even though the new X3 look similar to the X1 but it utilises and all new improved wheel and buttons, it also support smart power mode that allows the player to go into hibernation mode and go back into play back instantly.

In short I find the X3 2nd gen a remarkable DAP considering what it can do with a price tag around 200$.
