Google I/O 2019: Google Pixel 3A And Pixel 3A XL Available Now

During the Google I/O keynote, the company focused on Google Assistant, Android Q, and Google Lens among others, but also did not skip to take time and officially introduce its two new smartphones, Google Pixel 3A and 3A XL, which will be available for sale immediately.

Google Pixel 3A and 3A XL are a more affordable version of the Pixel 3, Google’s latest flagship. They held onto one of the most important features of Pixel phones which is the outstanding camera, together with the Night Sight feature and its famous portrait mode. And, to make it even more appealing, both devices will have the headphone jack.

Unfortunately, Google had to rely on more simple options for other features which is why the new Pixel phones will use Snapdragon 670 processor and have only 64GB of storage. Furthermore, unlike the Pixel 3, Pixel 3A and 3A XL will not have wireless charging and water resistance and will use plastic instead of glass housing.

Talking about the screen, both devices will feature a full HD+ OLED display with the only difference being the display size which will be 6 inches for 3A XL model and 5.6 inches for the 3A model. The battery is 3,700mAh and 3,000mAh respectively. Both devices will feature Bluetooth 5.0 and fast wired charging.

The starting price of Google Pixel 3A is $399 while for the Pixel 3A XL it is $479. It is available now in Google Store in Black, White and Purple(ish) color options.
