Harman Kardon Fly Headphones Series Offers 3 Models

During the CES 2020, Harman Kardon revealed three new speaker and one soundbar as a part of its Citation speaker line-up. But, it also went back to headphones after 6 years with the new wireless audio lineup. Harman Kardon Fly series features three different wireless headphones that make up for all the time they were absent with the most popular features available on the market. The series features Fly TWS, Fly ANC, and Fly BT. Here is everything you need to know about each.

Harman Kardon Fly TWS

The first in the Fly series are the truly wireless earbuds model Fly TWS. They offer 5 hours of playback time at once but, of course, they come with a charging case that offers two additional full charges you can rely on using fast charging. They are not fully waterproof but do have sweat and rain protection with the IPX5 waterproof rating. Fly TWS earbuds have touch controls on the side panel of the earbuds. Other features include voice assistant compatibility, Google Assistant or Alexa, in-ear detection which pauses and resumes music when taken out and put in your ear, as well as TalkThru. They will be available for $150.

Harman Kardon Fly BT

The second pair of Fly series headphones is the Fly BT. They are also Bluetooth earbuds, but unlike the previous pair have the around-the-neck design with a cable connecting the two buds to each other. Similar to the TWS model, they have the IPX5 waterproof rating making them rain and sweatproof, but also have voice assistant capabilities making Google Assistant or Alexa even easier to access on the go. When it comes to the design, Fly BT earbuds button controls are located on the pod on the wire that can be adjusted for each user. There are also the magnets in each bud that connects to each other allowing them to stay securely around your neck. They also offer a longer battery life as expected or this type of earbuds, with 8 hours of playback time on a full charge, but are also compatible with fast charging. They will be available for $100 at launch.

Harman Kardon Fly ANC

The last pair model in the Fly collection is Fly ANC headphones. Unlike the other two in-ear models, these are over-the-ear headphones offer one feature that makes them stand out in the series: active noise canceling. The headphones come with button controls on the ear cup, with leather cups for the more comfortable wearing experience. You can access the Google Assistant using the touch controls as well. The battery life is pretty good, offering around 20 hours of playback time with active noise canceling on, meaning without it they can last you even a bit longer. The quick charging allows you to get 2.5 hours of playback time in only 15 minutes of charging. It is important to note that these are the only pair without IPX rating. They will be available for $250 at the launch.

All headphones from the Harman Kardon Fly series are still far away, with the release date being set for winter 2020.
