IFA 2019: Audio-Technica Announced Two New Earbuds As Well As A New Turntable

IFA 2019 is almost here, and audio companies have already started announcing their new products. The start this year is with Audio-Technica, the respective name in the audio industry is announcing a new version of its high-quality turntable the AT-LP5. Audio-Technica IFA 2019 announcements also include two new earbuds the ATH-CKS5TW and ATH-CK3TW so let’s dig through these new products. 

Starting with the ATH-CKS5TW which is the top of the line. These new true wireless headphones feature 10mm drivers and a dual-layer diagram for accurate bass which means premium sound-quality. The Audio-Technica CKS5TW offers 15 hours of battery life plus 30 more hours using the charging case which is quite impressive. There are buttons on each bud for music playback and calls controls, as well as support for both Siri and Google Assistant. These new earbuds will be available only in black color and they will sell for a price of £149. 

Going down the line, the ATH-CK3TW model is similar to the ATH-CKS5TW. They feature 5.8mm drivers and will be available in black, white, blue and red. They offer only 6 hours of battery life in the buds themselves in addition to 24 hours using the charging case. They also support both Siri and Google Assistant. The Audio-Technica CK3TW will be available in November for £99. 

Finally, Audio-Technica announced the AT-LP5x turntable which brings a bunch of new updates to its predecessor the AT-LP5. The new turntable has a new cartridge, as well as a new direct-drive motor which allows users to playback at 78rpm in case they upgrade their stylus. The turntable still has a preamp and USB output. The Audio-Technica AT-LP5x will cost £349.
