IFA 2019: JBL Pulse 4 Brings A 360-degree Light Show
IFA 2019 show brought quite a lot of new devices, including a new JBL portable speaker with 360-degree sound. The new JBL Pulse 4, the successor of the Pulse 3 revealed at IFA show two years ago, fully combines light with sound, with a 360-degree light show, better design, and performance.
Pulse 4 offers the classic JBL Signature sound, meaning you will get crisp highs and deep bass from all angles, no matter where the speaker is positioned. This, combined with the high-res LEDs beneath the surface, brings you a unique listening experience accompanied by a light show. Using the JBL Connect app, you can choose the colors and effects based on your mood or the music that is being played at the moment. Furthermore, you can use your phone camera to scan and color-match the light show to any object around you.
Talking about other important features, Pulse 4 allows you to connect two devices, either phones or tablets and enjoy your favorite tunes up to 12 hours at a single charge. As it has IPX7, you can take it basically anywhere, from a picnic to a pool party. In case of large spaces, you can turn on the PartyBoost feature through the app and connect together more than 100 JBL speakers to enjoy the music.
The JBL Pulse 4 is not available yet for sale but the company promises it will be available for sale in fall 2019. There will be only two color options possible, black and white, but with the colorful LEDs, it is more than enough. The price is expected to be $199.95.
