Creative Releases the Katana V2 Gaming Soundbar

Audio is a very important part of the gaming experience that has a whole industry focused on it. However, most of the focus is directed towards gaming headsets and the individual gaming experience. Back in 2017, Creative was one of the few manufacturers that tried to present something different by releasing its Katana Sound Blaster soundbar, and it must have been a success for them to release the Katana V2 gaming Sound Blaster, the second generation of its gaming soundbar.

Design-wise, the new Katana V2 soundbar itself features a modern and refined design when compared to its predecessor. While the included subwoofer looks exactly the same, Creative claims that it’s 68 percent more powerful than its predecessor.

While the Katana V2 is presented as a gaming soundbar that would allow gamers to blast out their audio, Creative understands that no one is able to blast out their audio effects at all times. So the new gaming soundbar features a 3.5mm jack as well as a center for late-night sessions that use Creative’s own Super X-Fi Headphone Holography technology that works on simulating a loudspeaker experience through any gaming headphones.

If the 3.5mm jack is not enough, the gaming soundbar features a wide range of connectivity options like HDMI ARC, optical ports, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB-C port for USB audio support, 3.5mm AUX-in, and SXFI-out.

The Katana V2 gaming soundbar is available for purchase now through Creative’s official website for $329.99.
