MoFi and Fender Announce a new Limited-edition Turntable

Mobile Fidelity Electronics, better known as MoFi, is teaming up with Fender, the famous guitar manufacturer, to produce a limited edition turntable. Only 1000 units of the Fender x MoFi PrecisionDeck will be produced worldwide.

The new PrecisionDeck will feature Fender’s signature Sunburst colors, starting with the black edges that transition into rich red, then orange, and finally yellow in the middle. The orange and yellow expose the Swamp Ash wood that was used to make this limited edition turntable. The same wood is used to make the famous Fender’s Precision Bass guitar which explains the name of the new turntable.

The turntable’s shape was designed by Yuriy Shishkov, the Principal Master Builder at Fender Custom Shop, and the wood is sourced, milled, shaped, and painted by Fender USA. After that these components are sent to MoFi’s factory in Ann Arbor, Michigan where they are assembled, installed, tested, and set up.
