A new update for Minilogue and Monologue synth systems from Korg

Korg is really into keeping the operating systems of their new Minilogue and Monologue up to date, especially in the last period. A couple days ago, Korg released a new update for both systems, adding many useful features and some pretty good sound libraries to be used. The update numbered 1.23 focused on “fixing priority of voices in release stage.” While the previous update focused on latch mode for the arpeggiator and corrected CC number assigns. These updates may look small and useless, but in fact, they’re pretty handy.

After the update, you’ll be able to download the free Minilogue Sound Library 1.0.1, which allows you to rearrange and organize programs in the system, it also allows you to save them on your PC or MAC device. And you’ll be able to download more audio libraries from Korg.

What’s new in this update?

  • Program names can now be edited in the Program List.
  • Preset data can be added via the [File] menu.
  • Copying programs from Preset Data to the Program List can now be done with multiple selections.
  • Fixed Japanese localization support on OSX 10.12.
  • The same changes accrued to the Monologue Sound Librarian 1.0.1.

You can always get the newest software updates from the Korg official website.
