Rotel Announces Michi X3 and X5 Integrated Amplifiers
Rotel is expanding its Michi portfolio of integrated amplifiers by introducing two new amplifiers, the X3, and the X5 integrated amplifiers. The Michi X3 and X5 are joining the P5 control amp, S5 stereo amp, and M8 Monoblock amp that were released back in 2019. The audio company is promising the same high-quality performance and elegance in design.
The Rotel Michi X3 delivers 350-watts of power into 4-ohm and 200-watts to 8-ohm loads, driven by a high-efficiency toroidal transformer feeding independent analog, digital, and power amplifier voltage regulator circuits for optimal power isolation. In order to better isolate music signals and processing from the amplification stage, the X3 uses a direct-path circuit topology.
The X5 Integrated Amplifier delivers 600-watts of output power into 4-ohms and 350-watts to 8-ohm loads. This amplifier features 14 source inputs including analog, digital, XLR, USB with DSD 2x decoding and MQA rendering, aptX, and AAC high-quality wireless Bluetooth streaming, and both moving-magnet and moving-coil phono stages.
The Michi X3 will cost $4,999 and it will be available in October, while the Michi X5 will cost $6,999 and it will be available in November.
