Turtle Beach Stealth Gen 2 headsets bring improved design

Three years after their initial release, Turtle Beach released the second generation of its gaming headsets Stealth 600 and 700. The biggest change is the improved design that takes in consideration most convenient headphone use. There will be two versions of both headsets with the main difference being the gaming console they are compatible with, but, what are the new features of the Turtle Beach Stealth Gen 2 headsets?

Talking about the design, the first thing that can be noticed is that the buttons are now more conveniently placed around the ear cup itself. The headsets still maintain the minimal yet futuristic design with several color options, as well as a microphone that can be folded up when not in use and will perfectly fit the cups without obstructing the view. When it comes to color options, there is black or white base options which have either blue or green details based on the console compatibility of the given model.

Turtle Beach Stealth Gen 2 headsets feature a USB-C port for charging which is also one of the biggest changes since the predecessor models. The company will release two separate models of both 600 and 700 headsets, each compatible with either PlayStation, or Xbox consoles including the latest PS5 and Xbox Series X. The model compatible with PS will also be compatible with Nintendo Switch. When it comes to performance, nothing significantly changed since the previous generation.

All of these features will be available on both headset models, except a few additional ones that will be exclusive to Stealth 700 model. This includes all-black design with faux leather ear pads when it comes the design, and the ability to use Bluetooth to connect to another device and listen to more than just in-game audio.

Turtle Beach Stealth Gen 2 headsets won’t all be available at the same time. Starting today, PlayStation fans will be able to purchase Stealth 600 for $99.99, while those who use Xbox will have to wait until the 20th of September. Also on the 20th of September, Stealth 700 Gen 2 headset for both PlayStation and Xbox will be available for $149.99.
