Google Confirms A New Nest Speaker Coming Soon

After the surprising release of a new Nest Speaker through regulatory filing, the tech giant confirmed to The Verge the existence of the speaker by sending a photo of the new Next smart speaker referring to it as “what the Nest team is working on from home.”

The new smart speaker features a new design, somewhere between the small Nest Mini, and the larger Google Home Max smart speaker. It also looks like it has the ability to be placed both vertically and horizontally.

In the photos leaked from the filing, the speaker was wrapped in gray fabric, while the photo from Google shows it in a light blue color. Google also shared a short teaser video that shows the speaker in pink color being used in the background. We can expect more color options when the speaker is released. 

There is still no word on when the Nest smart speaker will be released. But it looks like we will see it soon on the market since Google has the release video ready.
