OnePlus 8 Sketches Reveal A Four-Camera Setup

OnePlus has revealed its latest flagships, OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro, a month ago and is still on the high from the launch. But, this does not stop us from thinking of what is ahead and what comes next year, especially with the leak of the OnePlus 8 sketches that show what the future model might be like.

The previous renders of the future OnePlus 8 seem to be confirmed by the digital sketches, showing not a three but four-camera setup on the back. Three lenses are located in the common oval housing in a vertical fashion, while the fourth camera is embedded into the phone case itself, which indicates that it might be a ToF camera.

The sketches also show the front side of the One Plus 8, meaning we can have a good look at the front camera as well. Unlike the previous few models, the upcoming one is not going to have a teardrop notch but rather a punch-hole cutout lens. There are two designs shown, with a single and a double lens setup, which means there will probably be an 8 Pro version of the phone yet again. It seems that OnePlus gave up on the pop-up from camera of this year’s Pro models.

Other than the camera setups, there is not much more that can be known based on the sketches except that it seems both models will have curved glass edges of the display. The difference between the standard and the pro model seems to be less drastic than One Plus 7, but we are yet to see what the big difference will be. The launch will most likely take place in Spring next year, giving us enough time to find out more about the details about the upcoming flagships.
