PayPal will be available across Google services with one click

PayPal, that was founded by Elon Musk almost 20 years ago, is a very popular service used for sending and receiving money, as well as online purchases through personal PayPal account using data-encryption to protect your information. On the other hand, Google Pay is one of the Google apps that came as an early 2018 update of Android Pay and it serves a similar purpose of storing your card’s information and it allows you to use them to make in-app payments over your smartphone or a tablet. On May 24th, PayPal announced in a press release that it will be deepening the relations with Google with a common goal to create a more simple solution to payments across the two platforms and make the whole transaction process easier for their users.

With the new updates what will change is that by adding PayPal into your Google Pay account, it will be offered as one of the payment options in the popular Google apps from Play Store and Google Pay to Youtube and Gmail. This will make a significant difference from how these two apps worked together to this point where you had to separately sign in each time you wish to use the services. This means that you will only have to sign in once and not only will it be much easier and simple to manage your account and purchases in less time, but the better relation between Google and PayPal will also bring you the option of using PayPal in Google Pay Send allowing you to send, receive and even request money from others.

Unfortunately, PayPal did not say when exactly will this step happen for the users of the two platforms but mentions that it will be “soon”, so we can only hope that it will be a bit later this year.
