Pixel 4 Display Leak Reveals A Mysterious Feature

With the release period for Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4XL approaching slowly, the leaks are revealing more and more details about the upcoming smartphone. Most of the renders so far concentrated on the backside and the camera setup, but the latest Ice Universe leak presented us with what might be true Google Pixel 4 display.

The photos shown in the leak reveal the screen panel that is presumably apart of the new Pixel lineup. Google Pixel 4 display seems to have a large top bezel that is expected to contain the front-side camera and sensors but it looks quite different from the previous Pixel generation displays as it might add a new feature to both smartphone models.

The top bezel contains many holes for different sensors, most of which seem to fit the regular purpose including the two cameras, several sensors, and the headpiece grill, but one thing stands out and it is the big oval hole on the right side of the bezel. The explanation behind its purpose is still not known as IU explained it only as a new feature that is going to be groundbreaking without actually specifying what it will be.

Based on previous rumors, we might be looking at Soli sensor that is going to add facial recognition feature alongside with other tricks that we should expect Google to include. So far, we are expecting an in-display sensor in front so this could be a nice addition to it.
