Razer Opus X are latest affordable gaming headphones

Razer, famous for its gaming equipment including laptops and other peripherals, has announced a new pair of gaming headphones: Razer Opus X. They are a much more affordable model compared to their predecessor, the Razer Opus, and offer many similar features that will improve your gaming audio setup.

Opus X headphones are wireless, over-the-ear headphones, minimizing the chaos that cables can become in a gaming setup. They have a very sleek and non-intrusive design, with the main focus being the internals: 40mm driver for rich audio experience and four microphones for more clarity.

The headphones offer ANC and Gaming Mode, and you can choose between the two for a breakaway from any distractions thanks to a multifunction button that gives you quick access to controls. Moreover, with the Quick Attention Mode, you are able to temporarily switch off the ANC to hear your surroundings at the moment.

The headphones use Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, but unfortunately don’t offer the 3.5mm jack alternative in case you run out of battery mid-game. However, the 40 hours of playback time (that is, 30 hours with ANC on) seems to be more than enough even for a few days.

Razer Opus X headphones are already available on the website for $100. There are three color options available: Green, Quartz, and Mercury.
