The Rock headphones for even the harshest workouts
Many celebrities have tried to come up with their own headphones on their path to success, but only some actually got famous and became well known brands or products. Most famous is, of course, rapper Dr. Dre who created the well known Beats brand, and by selling it to Apple became the richest rapper currently. On the other hand there are also headphones by Simon Cowell or 50 Cent that did not gain popularity as much. But, we have high expectations from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and his 2 year long collaboration with Under Armour to create The Rock headphones. They will be durable and high-quality over the ear headphones, intended for even the harshest workouts.
The Rock announced his new headphones on Instagram:
“They’re here ? Like you, my gym time is critical. It’s our time to shut the world out and anchor in. I prefer training in “over the ear” headphones, but have been consistently disappointed (pissed is a better word) with every pair, from every brand that just couldn’t handle my workouts. I thought if no one is going to design headphones BUILT FOR TRAINING, then I would. And I’d make them the best. Almost 2 years later, they’ve arrived. Our next @underarmour collection DROPS NEXT WEEK 6/28.”
His Under Armour collection includes workout gear, sneakers and these high quality, durable earphones. As Under Armour has worked with JBL on other headphones they offer, it can be assumed that they might be involved in bringing The Rock headphones to life as well.
They will be released tomorrow, 28th June, but the price of The Rock headphones is still unknown.
