Sennheiser Momentum Wireless Headphones Are The New Flagship

Sennheiser is coming back to the race of the best noise-canceling headphones by announcing the third generation of Sennheiser Momentum Wireless headphones after four long years. In those four years, a lot has changed when it comes to wireless noise-canceling headphones. Voice assistant became essential in any good headphones, USB-C is now the charging method for wireless headphones, and a few versions of Bluetooth have been around for quite some time. But Sennheiser is here to compete with the industry leaders such as Sony, and Bose.

Sennheiser Momentum Wireless headphones support a voice assistant, whether it is Google Assistant or Alexa for Android devices, or Siri for iOS users. These new headphones also feature a proximity sensor which allows them to stop or start the music playback when you put them on/off. Another update is the USB-C charging port which brings this pair of headphones up to date.

Unlike other brands, Sennheiser kept the control buttons instead of gestures. The Momentum Wireless headphones offer Bluetooth 5 connection that supports aptX, AAC and SBC, as well as aptX Low Latency making sure that both the audio and the video arrive in sync when the user is watching a movie. Another cool feature is the integration of the third-party app Tile, which will help you to find your headphones in case you misplace them around the house.

Just like every leading wireless headphone right now, Momentum Wireless headphones feature a Transparent Mode allowing users to hear their surroundings in case they wanted to. Another unique feature is the lack of a power button, instead, the headphones turn off automatically when you fold them in, and on again when you unfold them.

When it comes to battery life, Sennheiser Momentum Wireless headphones have 17 hours of battery, the company outlined that it’s comfortable to use them for such period of time thanks to extra padding and headband softness.

The Momentum Wireless noise-canceling headphones will sell for £350 or $400 competing with other class-leading headphones such as the Sony WH-1000XM3, and Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700.
