Sennheiser announces special edition Pink Floyd headphones
It looks like fans of the popular English rock band will be getting a chance of laying hands on this official Sennheiser product stylized with their favorite band’s symbols, as the audio technologies company announced the Momentum HD1 Wireless Pink Floyd edition.
Celebrating the partnership between Sennheiser and Pink Floyd at “Their Mortal Remains” event, Momentum HD1 Wireless edition will be released with style inspired by the 1973 enduring classic “Dark Side of the Moon”. The headphones come with a rainbow-stitched headband leather ending in the famous prism on earcups as well as a “Their Mortal Remains” name-plate.
“It is a true pleasure to mark this cultural event with a dedicated new version of Momentum that celebrates both design and an enduring love of music. This is also a wonderful way to continue our history as a company working with Pink Floyd.” Said co-CEO Daniel Sennheiser, who spoke about his company’s close relationship to the band which had used their products in the last couple of decades in various events and shows.
“Their Mortal Remains” celebrates 50 years since the release of Pink Floyd’s first single, and it takes the audience in a journey through the history of the British rock band. The show started last week and it continues for 20 more weeks. If you can’t attend then at least now you’ll have a piece of the event with those Momentum HD1 headphones which will be available starting next month, priced at 380 pounds.
