SoundMagic TWS50 Are A Better Alternative To The AirPods

Apple AirPods might be the most popular true wireless earbuds on the market, but that doesn’t mean that they are the best. SoundMagic is releasing its first-ever true wireless earbuds, and the SoundMagic TWS50 might be a better alternative for AirPods.

The SoundMagic TWS50 wireless earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.0, and an IPX7 rating, meaning that they can survive for 30 minutes underwater making them perfect for a sweaty workout.

While the TWS50 don’t offer wireless charging, their battery life is better than the AirPods. Offering 30 hours of music playback in total, that’s 6 hours from the buds themselves and another 24 hours from the charging case.

The charging case design includes a small 1-100 power display allowing users to check how much battery is left exactly. There’s also an auto-pairing feature once the earbuds are removed.

The TWS50 offer a “Dual Listening” mode, which will allow users to connect each earpiece to different devices. This means that you will be able to share one of your earbuds with a friend in case they forgot to bring their headphones.

Each earpiece features a 6mm Neodymium driver which is small, but SoundMagic claims that the small size of the drivers won’t affect the sound quality.

The touch-sensitive controls on each earpiece allow users to control music playback, sound, accept or reject calls, and interact with their voice assistant whether it’s Google Assistant or Siri.

For a price tag of $89.99 and longer battery life, the SoundMagic TWS50 are a better alternative to the Apple AirPods for sure. These new earbuds are on sale now.
