Spotify Mixes Are New Playlists Made For You
Spotify is always working on something new to improve its platform. After all, being the leading music streaming service in the world requires some work. The latest addition to Spotify was announced today and it’s a new family of personalized playlists that are called Spotify Mixes.
These new playlists will have songs that you already like in addition to some songs that Spotify thinks that you will like based on your listening habits. They focus on three different categories, artists, genres, and music decades. And they will be available for both Free and Premium users globally starting today.
Spotify already offers similar personalized playlists called Daily Mixes, but the new Spotify Mixes are here to supplement the Daily Mixes, and also to make it easier for users to choose what they want to listen to since it’s hard sometimes to differentiate between “Daily Mix 1” and “Daily Mix 2” and so on.

Spotify Mixes come in three mix categories with clear names making it easier to understand and remember, we will have the artist mix, genre mix, and decade mix. Each mix category will have several playlists featuring artists, genres, and decades you listen to often. “these new Spotify Mixes represent the next generation of focused, personalized offerings at Spotify—right at your fingertips.” says a blogpost by Spotify.
You can access your own Spotify Mixes by going to the Search tab and checking the Made For You hub where you will find three new categories labeled “Your Artist Mixes”, “Your Genre Mixes”, and “Your Decade Mixes”.
