Tidal Started to Provide MQA quality content for Subscribers

Jay-z’s Music Streaming Service “Tidal” has just started to provide Music in MQA “Master Quality Authenticated” Audio to it’s Hi-Fi Packages Subscribers to enable high-resolution music streams without any additional cost.

This New Technology Was Developed by Meridian and it will help to compress music files to a smaller size to be faster-easier to stream, without loosing any of the content’s quality and it will provide high level of details.

The Streaming Service was Providing it’s Hi-Fi Subscribers with in 96 kHz/24 bit content ,but Starting from today it will Start to provide them 44.1 kHZ/16 bit CD-quality, to activate this feature you need to go “Settings” Menu then Choose “HiFi/Master” under “Streaming” tab.

At this time the MQA Content is available only on the desktop version of Tidal, but i’m sure that the company will also take care of it’s mobile app users very soon.

Tidal today has approximately 4.2m subscribers, this is not a very big number if you compare it to Apple Music’s 13m users or Spotify’s 30m users, but if you are a Tidal Subscriber you’ll Enjoy 4k Music Video and Movies beside High Quality Music.
