Urbanista Stockholm Plus buds offer improved battery life

Following the famous Apple AirPods, many companies have tried to create and release their own version of truly wireless earbuds that would compete with Apple’s iconic model. Last year in May, Urbanista released Stockholm earbuds, packing the most important features but for a much more affordable price. Now, a year later, the company released Urbanista Stockholm Plus, second-gen earbuds with a few important updates. Here is everything you need to know.

The overall outside design of the Stockholm Plus buds did not change drastically from the previous model, except for the volume and call touch controls, and new colors that were added including Midnight Black, Fluffy Cloud, Rose Gold, Olive Green, and Titanium.  What did change more significantly are the internals as the buds now host bigger drivers and improved microphone, all of which should result in much better performance too.

The other significant update comes to the charging case. Stockholm Plus buds now offer 20 instead of just 14 hours of playback time, with 3.5 hours available on a single charge. And the buds also got an IPX4 resistance rating just to keep them safe on a day-to-day basis from any splashes or sweat. Other features have stayed pretty much the same, meaning you will still require Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity and will be able to use Siri or Google Assistant based on the device you connect them to.

Even though everyone would expect the second generation to cost more, Urbanista Stockholm Plus buds are significantly cheaper than their predecessor as they are available for $69 in all five colors mentioned above.
