WA33 Elite Edition: the luxury amplifier by Woo Audio
Woo Audio released their WA22 dynamic amplifier back in 2009 and it was truly a success for the company and became a preference for many users. But now, almost a decade later, they came out with the new WA33 amplifier that would improve the sound of any headphones you use and raises the bar for other amplifiers on the market.
Going further than this, there is the WA33 Elite Edition amplifier, developed to utilize the best internal components as well as the materials to give a rich, fuller and yet transparent sound to its users. The WA33 amplifier contains quad of 6C45 tubes intended for the driver, as well as a quad of 2A3 tubes intended for the power. Additionally, they are all in direct-heated triodes which significantly improves the sound quality given out by the amplifier.
Each of the amplifier units uses its own power supply so possible interference to critical audio components is eliminated. The power output per channel is 10 watts. What truly affects the sound performance of the WA33 amplifier is is that it uses Internal Coupling Architecture (ICA) technology of making the signal travel shorter distance so electrical interference is significantly reduced.
The WA33 amplifier contains five knobs in front using which you can control impedance, volume, level of gain, choose input option and select between headphones or preamplifier. This amplifier contains only three inputs located on the rear side of the device: two sets of stereo XLR inputs and one set of stereo RCA inputs. Regarding the outputs, there is one set of stereo XLR outputs. The Elite Edition does not have any digital connections but it is rather a fully analog amplifier.
