Audio Technica ATH-DSR9BT Wireless Over-Ear Headphones with Pure Digital Drive
The ATH-DSR9BT wireless headphones includes Audio-Technica’s Pure Digital Drive system. This system allows the headphones to operate without a sound-degrading DAC. The ATH-DSR9BT uses Trigence Semiconductor's Dnote chipset to receive the digital audio signal from a Bluetooth transmission, process and transfer it to the driver where the chipset vibrates the voice coil to produce an audible sound. The headphones is equipped with a re-engineered 45mm driver, which features a lightweight diaphragm that has an extended 5Hz - 45,000Hz frequency response. The headphones also support 24-bit/48kHz aptX HD codec and can reproduce Hi-Res audio content when connected to a digital playback device via the included USB cable. In addition, the ATH-DSR9BT is equipped with a microphone, volume and controls for answering calls or playing/pausing music.
