FiiO M5 Ultra-Portable High-Resolution Audio Player

The M5 is FiiO’s ultra-portable high-resolution player that has a lot of features and uses. Unlike other players in the same price range, the M5 is equipped with the Ingenic X1000E processor that has low power consumption but provides high performance. This allows the M5 to do more for longer period of time. The M5 utilizes the AKM AK4377 DAC chip that has support for native DSD with low distortion and noise. The Bluetooth chip used in the M5 is Qualcomm’s Flagship CSR8675 which is also used in the new FiiO Q5s flagship DAC. The touchscreen is a 1.54 inch display that utilizes gestures for the best usability for the small display. The M5 can also be used as a USB DAC that supports up to 384kHz/32bit and DSD 128. It also supports connecting to USB-OTG compatible smartphones or tablets that allows file transfer through OTG without needing a computer.
