Before we go into the specs, we have to talk about the amazing experience that Dolby is bringing for the users on-the-go. First, we have Dolby LifeMix, a feature which lets you control how much you want to hear from your surroundings. You can go full active-noise-canceling, or enjoy a blend of your entertainment and life around you.

Another feature is Cinematic Sound and Head Tracking, which makes you enjoy all your movies and series just like you are watching them on the big screen. It literary brings the Atmos experience into your headphones. Head Tracking makes the experience more realistic by making the sound seem like it’s always coming from your screen, even when you turn your head.

Intuitive Touch Controls are really interesting. You can turn on and off Dolby LifeMix, control the volume level up and down, even control your show by moving either forward or back and much more all by touching your earcup. Another interesting feature that works with touch controls is the One-Touch-Switching which will let you switch between three Bluetooth devices with only one touch.

“Dolby’s true north is uniting the art and science of entertainment, elevating the creators’ ability to tell their stories and enabling consumers to be immersed in spectacular experiences,” Kevin Yeaman, the company’s President, and CEO said in a statement. “Today we continue that journey with the introduction of Dolby Dimension.”

Just like many other wireless headphones in the market, Dolby Dimension has their own smartphone app. The app will let you adjust the Dolby LifeMix level in case you didn’t manage to get the level you want with the touch control. You can also adjust the Cinematic Sound, add up to eight devices instead of only three with the One-Touch-Switch, as well as turning on the low-power mode.

Although the Dolby Dimension is aimed for entertainment purposes, that doesn’t mean that you can’t use it to make and receive calls. Beamforming mics give you clear sound during calls. You can also use them to activate your smart assistant, whether it is Google Assistant or Siri.

In order to charge your Dolby Dimension, Dolby is providing a charging base that will connect to your headphones and keeps them within your reach. According to Dolby, two hours charge is enough for you to watch a whole season of a series, while you need only 15 minutes of charging to watch a whole movie.

Dolby Dimension are available now on Dolby official website for $599 only. You can get them now and enjoy a personal Atmos experience in your living room.
