Beolit 20 speaker has an integrated Qi charging pad

Bang & Olufsen has finally added a new 2020 model to its Beolit speaker lineup. Beolit 20 brings a few feature upgrades but maintains the well-known and powerful sound which is combined with the interesting picnic basket-like design making it the ultimate portable speaker you can take anywhere, from a pool party to camping. Here is everything you need to know.

Starting with the design, Beolit 20 closely resembles other speakers in the lineup but has more angled lines that would optimize the overall sound performance. The top section is now a bit higher and holds the tan or black leather strap which makes the portability aspect more convenient. On the inside, you can count on a 5.5-inch woofer, as well as three 1.5-inch full-range drivers and two 4-inch radiators, all of which together bring out that undeniable B&O performance which, thanks to True360 technology, is omnidirectional.

Talking about the battery life, you can expect an improvement with 8 hours of playback time at a typical listening volume, or if it is used as background noise, even around 20 hours. An interesting new feature of the new Beolit 20 is the integrated Qi charging pad on top that allows you to charge your phone while playing music without having to think twice about the phone’s battery life.

Bang & Olufsen’s new Beolit 20 portable speaker is available in two color options: Grey Mist which is a combo of white and tan, and Black Anthracite which includes black and navy. The speaker is already available for $500 on the company’s website.
