Marvel’s Avengers Review – A great epic

When Marvel’s Avengers game was first announced, most expectations were set high, after all, it’s the Avengers. The game is developed by Crystal Dynamics studios who also gave us the Tomb Raider series of games. Whether those expectations are based on comic books or movies; we all know that Marvel means there will be a captivating story and familiar characters. Therefore, in Marvel’s Avengers, we expect a lot from the game. We want this feeling of pure power that the characters enjoy so that we can finally experience how to fly over the enemies, feel the power of Hulk’s fist, and go on an adventure to save the world from villains. Here in this article, we will give you a review of Marvel’s Avengers game.

Unfortunately, Marvel’s Avengers’ reality doesn’t meet all of our expectations. Despite the quality of the game story and the campaign mode. The game is somehow predictable, there are lots of repetitive and boring missions, with major performance issues. But with the studio developing Crystal Dynamics’ plans to support the game for a long time, we’ll probably see a lot of improvements and updates to upcoming missions and superheroes as well.

Marvel’s Avengers Review – Campaign mode

The campaign mode introduces players to the single-player mode, Marvel’s Avengers makes a strong impression from the start. You will start as Kamala Khan on her journey to become Ms. Marvel, and begins her journey to find and reunite the Avengers. Marvel heroes have a new mission, to confront the threat of AIM – a tech company that produces killer robots that seek to imprison and “cure” anyone who exhibits superpowers. You will take on each character’s heroic role to explore the story and emotional turmoil of the Avengers after their A-Day failure and the five years that have passed since then.

The superheroes who make up the Avengers, Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hulk, and Thor are obviously well-known, and famous superheroes. The game starts with the character of Kamala Khan, a young girl who is a huge fan of the Avengers, celebrating the Avengers on what’s now called Avengers Day or A-Day for short in San Francisco. Soon, Kamala will become a superhero as well, after a terrorist attack and tragedy that caused the break up of the Avengers and the spread of superpowers among a segment of the population. Although you’ll spend time with all of the characters, a large part of the story in Marvel’s Avengers is primarily Kamala. This approach has succeeded in providing a distinct connection between the players and the game both morally and emotionally.

The Avengers’ experience is so different from each other to the point that each character will make you feel as if you are playing a different game focused only on that specific character. It is this diversity that helps keep Marvel’s Avengers enjoyable – especially when you reach the part of the game that focuses on the multiplayer mode. Within the story mode, each character allows you to explore different levels that match each of the Avengers’ strengths, but this also makes the story a bit disconnected.

However, the story itself is a great element; Marvel’s Avengers engages in special battles between characters that have added depth to the Marvel cinematic universe. It is generally based on the connection and the relationship between the characters and, after the years of despair that followed A-Day.

Different characters and multiplayer mode

There is a big difference between the characters, this makes the transition from Kamala to Hulk to Iron Man with different levels for each character confusing for players. There is a lot to know about each character, and controlling each character effectively may require some practice. Although the game offers tutorials for each character, they appear late and are optional. Generally speaking there isn’t a neat way to fit all of the characters into one game, so you’ll start to feel like campaign mode is an extended tutorial to prepare you for the multiplayer mode.

The addition of using the surrounding environment such as cars and different parts left by the explosions are great. While the game has many skill trees that you can use to develop characters and obtain new abilities for each of them.

Multiplayer mode has its own sense of fun compared to campaign mode. You will find that each character has its pros and cons. For example, Iron Man and Black Widow are the best in solo combat, while Ms. Marvel and Hulk are perfect in clearing the horde of enemies around them. In general, working together in a battle that brings together the Avengers while playing with your favorite character is the best way to enjoy the game. In general, the bigger and tougher battles in Marvel’s Avengers get very exciting when you start multitasking with your superpowers while getting welcome help from other superheroes.

So if you are a Marvel fan, then you shouldn’t miss the chance to experience Marvel’s Avengers as it brings you together with your favorite superheroes.
