B&O launched Beovision Harmony TV and speakers that fold out

Bang & Olufsen has worked hard on the design of its most recent speakers including the Beosound Edge which is a giant circle that rotates to adjust the volume. Now, they have released Beovision Harmony TV that comes with rotating speakers that create a sculptural centerpiece of any room.

Beovision Harmony consists out of a 77-inch LG C9 OLED screen with two rotating speakers that feature 3-channel, fully active DSP-based sound system with a maximized acoustic performance. The 7.1 surround sound decoder is included allowing connection of up to 8 additional Beolab speakers.

Following the company’s vision that TV can be a design element of the room, it incorporated mechanical elements to its Beovision Harmony which can be placed on the floor or attached to the wall. When it is not used, the TV is partially hidden behind the speakers that, when the TV turns on, rotate and move below the screen that lifts up.

As most of the new TVs, it has smart features allowing its users to use TuneIn and Deezer as well as Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2 and it has a built-in Chromecast. As it relies on LG webOS 4.5, users can also use it for Netflix, YouTube, and even Amazon.

Beovision Harmony is going to be available in B&O stores with the expected price of around $20,500. The panels come in two color combinations, oak wood with aluminium or gray melange two-tone fabric with aluminum. The LG screen is already on sale for $6,999 without the speakers while the Harmony is going to be released for sale starting October 2019.
