The German Canton had a different presence during the Bristol show -held at the moment of writing in Britain-, and that by launching the GLE 496.2 Floorstanding speakers, characterized by what does not feature many of the usual Floorstanding speakers; HDMI input.

During the Bristol show, the company unveiled its Canton GLE 496.2 Floorstanding speakers with 3 HDMI ports, and with full support for 4K and 3D display technologies, as well as one HDMI ARC output.
For standard inputs, they contain analog and optical inputs, as well as the ability to playback through Bluetooth technology.
The Canton GLE 496.2 also features output for subwoofers, as well as stereo, surround sound and synchronization correction features.
The company also added to its masterpiece the ability to control through the remote control devices for the television via IR, and for the internal hardware; The new Canton speakers contain the company’s Chrono aluminum engines.

As well; These speakers have a LED display at the bottom, to show how high or low the sound is, and what is the input from which the headset works; If it is connected to Bluetooth through a phone or through analog or other inputs.
The Canton 496.2 Active BT works at 320 Watt, with a frequency range of 20 to 40,000 Hz, and it has an ECO Mode to provide power consumption that can be activated when needed.
Canton intends to continue adding more to its Floorstanding line this year, but for the GLE 496.2 Active BT, it will be available in April in the UK in black and white at £1,400.
