Denon Releases two new portable over ear headphones
Denon is a Japanese electronics company that was involved in the early stages of development of digital audio technology while specializing in the manufacture of hi-fi professional and consumer audio equipment.
Denon is known for their audiovisual (AV) and hi-fi products, but last year, they launched a new wireless headphone, the AH-D7200, which was their first step for the Japanese company in the portable headsets market, and now Denon is coming again with two new wireless over-ear headphones, Denon AH-D1200, Denon AH-D9200.
By launching two headphones, the company is trying to cover all consumers target groups, therefore, the Denon AH-D1200 is more budget-friendly, but still with a really good material. The design is pretty simple, the headband is made out of memory foam, as well as the earcups which will deliver a comfortable long-wear.
An aluminum diecast hangar which gives a really elegant design along with the memory foam on the headband and earcups. With the 50mm drivers, the AH-D1200 can reach a frequency range between 4 and 50,000 Hz. For $200, the new headphones will be available in either white or black color with the aluminum hangar in both versions.
When it comes to the other new headphones by Denon, the AH-D9200 is similar to the AH-D1200 but way more luxurious. It is basically an update to the AH-D7200, with a new updated version of the AH-D7200’s 50mm drivers that will deliver even better hi-fi sounds. The AH-D9200 comes with a Japanese bamboo housing, and similar to the AH-D1200, memory foam is used for the earcups for long hours of comfortable usage. The new high-end wireless headphones will be available in October 2018 for $1800.
Along with the headphones itself, a 1.3 audio cable, 1.3m Audio Cable with In-Line Remote and Mic, and a carrying pouch will be shipped in the same box. And all customers will get a free Denon Audio app for custom EQ.
