Get The JadeAudio EA3 For Just $39.99

Back in September of this year, FiiO introduced JadeAudio which is a sub-brand of FiiO aimed at offering slightly more affordable versions of some of FiiO’s devices. However, this time ’round JadeAudio has made available something a little different. The EA3 is apparently based on FiiO’s very popular FH1, but in a package more similar to FiiO’s most recent IEMs such as the FA1 and FA7.

Like the FH1, the EA3 is built around a hybrid dual-driver configuration which consists of a 13.6mm dynamic driver (in contrast to the 10mm unit used in the FH1) alongside the same Knowles 33518 balanced armature driver which was originally used in the FH1.

Judging from the provided frequency response graph, it seems that the EA3 will have what appears to be an overall more balanced signature given that it has better extension on both extremes of the response spectrum. The bass in particular shows much better presence in the ultra-low frequencies.

However, the most immediately noticeable change is in the look of the EA3 compared to that of the FH1. FiiO have been doing an absolutely stellar job with the housings of their most recent IEMs as the acrylic shells feature a design and outright build quality which seems only synonymous with far more pricey custom IEMs. FiiO had clearly spent a ot of time researching what the most optimal shape would be for a universal-fit IEM, and I’d say they’ve definitely nailed it.

Now, because JadeAudio is aimed at offering products at a more affordable price-tag, you will inevitably get some of FiiO’s expertise trickle-down, and so the technology and the build quality you can get from JadeAudio at such affordable prices is pretty staggering.
For example, the original FH1 had a price of roughly $ 75, whereas the official MSRP for the EA3 is just $ 49.99. If it turns out that the EA3 really does offer an improved or even just refined signature over that of the FH1, then $ 50 would seem like the EA3 has an immensely high bag-for-buck value, and it might even be able to go head -on with various other popular IEMs such as the much-hyped Blon BL-03.
But, if $ 50 is still just a little on the steep side for you, then you’re in luck because JadeAudio are selling the EA3 for just $ 39.99 via their AliExpress store .
