Horizon Zero Dawn takes us on a long and exciting journey set in the far future. Earth has become a completely different place; nothing is like we used to know it anymore. Sometimes, you will have a hard time knowing when you are, whether it is from the truly distant future or an ancient historical era. It is a land full of mythical robotic animals. There are many horses and robotic dinosaurs that will make your journey more difficult inside this world, where humans defend themselves with spears and bows.

The storyline
Horizon Zero Dawn begins as a simple story about our hero trying to discover the truth behind her birth and how that truth relates to Earth’s mysteries. You control Aloy’s character, the hero of the story, who is the outcast child from the Nora tribe after Rost adopted her, also an outcast from the same community, who continued to take care of her until she grew up. Within this world, they both live within the boundaries occupied by the Nora tribe, a tribe that believes Aloy does not have a mother of hers, which made her shunned by the tribe.
As we see Aloy and Rost getting old, Aloy becomes obsessed with The Proving, which is a test even outcasts can do to prove their worth within the community. This little girl hopes that this test will help her gain the tools she needs to unravel her birth mystery. As the story progresses, we learn more about the history of the game world and the truth about Aloy.

Within Horizon Zero Dawn, there is a slow continuation of events. The game may not have a grand opening like in many other action games. It starts with scenes of Aloy as a baby, before those scenes jumped forward into her struggles when she was only six years old. When she is all grown up as an outcast is when the players take control of the character.
In this way, Horizon is gradually revealing itself. From the magical opening of this world that is engulfed by weirdness, until you discover all the secrets about it. Here, the game will constantly try to prove that it is bigger than you initially thought.
The game tries to highlight its magical world. It is the mirror that reflects the beauty of the game and gives you the reason to continue. Each city has its own architecture, such as the magnificent towering arches of the Meridian city or the grouping of tents and small northern hunting tribes’ complexes. These tribes have unique costumes and even believe in different religions.

Combat and gameplay are some of the things that have also been highlighted and are the things that the game excels at. The environment of this intricately designed world is teeming with electric monsters and powerful warriors, making it full of excitement for players while fighting these types of creatures, especially using simple weapons.
At the start of the game, you start with a simple bow and some arrows, but eventually, you get more advanced weapons. You can use some weapons that release an electric charge, explosives weapons, and a variety of traps that can surprise and catch unsuspecting enemies.
