Samsung Galaxy Buds Get A Bixby Voice Assistant Update

Samsung’s latest wireless earbuds launched a month and a half ago are getting a big and important update. Samsung Galaxy Buds haven’t had a voice assistant so far which put them a bit behind other popular wireless earbuds such as AirPods 2 but with the new update, users will be able to rely on Samsung’s voice assistant Bixby to control music and volume hands-free.

In order to activate Bixby, you need to download the new update though Galaxy Wearables app. This can be done through About Earbuds tab, and then by clicking on Update Earbuds Software. Another option is to do the same thing through the Galaxy Buds Manager program on Mac or PC.

Besides adding Bixby, Samsung also improved the touch controls and ambient sound control as part of the new update. Users will now be able to fine-tune the ambient noise based on their surrounding and even make ambient voices louder than other noise.

The new update will be available for all users but only those who connect their Samsung Galaxy Buds with a Samsung smartphone will be able to use Bixby, otherwise, this feature won’t be functioning. Bixby voice control is available in US English and Korean languages but the future update might bring more options.

Samsung Galaxy Buds deliver high-quality audio from AKG and feature several useful features including the Enhanced Ambien Noise, dual microphone system, 7 hours of playback time with a single charge in combination with wireless charging. They are available at Samma3a shop.
