The latest speaker by Bose is a new portable home speaker created to directly compete with HomePod and Google Home Max. The battery can last up to 12 hours at a single charge meaning you can both relocate it in the house or go outside with it. Even though it can be charged using a standard USB-C port, the company announced a compatible charging cradle that you can just put your speaker on and it will wirelessly recharge itself. 

When it comes to streaming, you can either use Bluetooth to stream music from your phone or laptop or use WiFi for any other music streaming services you might be subscribed to. WiFi also brings you Alexa and Google Assistant at your disposal, giving you voice control over the speaker itself but also other smart devices connected on the network. 

Other important features include AirPlay 2 and Spotify Connect compatibilities, mic-off option, IPX4 water resistance and multi-room system option wby connecting it with other Bose smart speakers and soundbars. 

Bose Portable Home Speaker is going to be available for sale starting September 19th, with the price set at $349. The charging cradle can be purchased separately for $29.

Bose Home Speaker 300

Bose has announced a new addition to its wireless speaker line, this time its smallest device yet. Home Speaker 300, even though the most compact from the Home Speaker range, delivers powerful sound experience. Made out of aluminum shell just like Home Speaker 500, it does not have the LCD screen which is one of the biggest differences besides the size. 

Other than that, it has preset buttons on the top for quick access to your favourite playlists, but it is also compatible with Google Assistant or Alexa so you can use voice commands for volume and playback controls as well. It is compatible with AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth but it has to be plugged in as it is not a portable speaker. Bose Companion 20

Bose is not only known for its smart and portable speakers but also computer speakers as well. The latest one is the affordable Bose Companion 20 computer speaker that can fill out the whole room with clear and natural sound of your favorite tunes using True Space technology. Combination of balance between the lows, mids and highs and the powerful drivers delivers a sound that seems improbable without additional subwoofers. The two speakers come with an additional control pod that can be plugged in and provides you with several additional controls including volume, mute, and even headphone jack. Voice Assistant Updates

During a certain period last year, most speaker producers started adding voice assistants to its devices and this included Bose as well. During the announcement of Home Speaker 300, Bose also revealed that Home Speaker 500, Soundbar 500 and 700 are also getting Google Assistant in addition to the previously added Amazon voice assistant Alexa. When the Bose app is updated, users will have an option to choose either Alexa of GA to be their personal assistant.

At the very beginning of summer, Bose revealed its latest model of noise-canceling headphones: Noise Cancelling Headphones 700, proving that the company is working on both the quality and the features of its products. The new headphones have 4 mics that serve for both noise-canceling but also noise isolating abilities. They feature voice assistant allowing you to rely on Google Assistant, Siri or Alexa without having to take your phone out at all times.

When it comes to the design, they are more model and simple when compared to previous generations, but also more comfortable. The touch controls are now found at the front of the ear cups for easy access. One of the more interesting features is the connection with Bose AR platform for audio augmented reality.

Bose Frames

Bose has been working on using audio to deliver information right to your ear and the way it decided to deliver this is using Bose Frames, audio AR sunglasses. Being an alternative to wireless headphones, they are basically sunglasses with built-in micro speakers that deliver the sound right into your ears, while the microphones allow you to interact with Siri or Google Assistant. 

The practical use of sunglasses can be even in navigation as using GPS in your phone, glasses can determine the direction you are facing and give you the right instructions on where to go next. Bose Grames are a bit heavier than your regular sunglasses but considering what they are packing, it is quite impressive. As they do not exactly go into your ear, you will still be able to hear the ambient noise which is sometimes good, especially out in traffic. 

Talking about style, there is Alto and Rondo, first being larger and more square frames, while the other one is a bit smaller with round frames. Battery life is up to 3.5 hours of playback time but they can be fully recharged in less than 2 hours. Bose Hearing Aid
