Bose QuietComfort Earbuds Come With ANC

After they got leaked yesterday, Bose is announcing two new wireless earbuds with ANC. While everyone was expecting the Noise Cancelling Earbuds 700 and Sport 500 true wireless earbuds, Bose is renaming both earbuds. Now, the high-end noise-cancelling wireless earbuds are named Bose QuietComfort Earbuds, and the other less expensive pair is called Bose Sport Earbuds.

Starting with the QuietComfort Earbuds which took the name of Bose’s popular over-ear headphones. Bose is promising that these new earbuds will deliver the same noise-cancelling that the over-ear version does. The company says that this wireless earbuds will deliver “world’s most effective noise cancelling.” Bose can live up to this promise due to the multiple internal and external microphones, its own proprietary ANC (active noise cancellation) chip, and a brand new algorithm. This noise-cancelling system can monitor sounds in your environment and in your ear canal and send a blocking signal to cancel the noise “in a fraction of a millisecond”. In addition to this ANC system, the company says that its StayHear Max tips also help keep ambient noise out, they are made from “soft silicon” so the earbuds can live up to its name and provide comfort during long listening sessions.

The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds offer 11 levels of noise-cancellation, users can choose between 11 levels of noise control, or ambient sound, and can customize both of those settings in the Bose headphones app. In addition to the tight ear tips, the earbuds feature a fin that helps keep them in place in case of sudden movement. Each bud weighs 0.3 ounces or “as much as a quarter”.

In terms of control, the QuietComfort Earbuds feature touch controls on each bud that allow users to play/pause, answer calls, access their virtual assistant, and switch between three levels of noise-cancelling. These earbuds can offer up to 6 hours of battery life, plus two more charges in the case that offer an additional 12 hours of playback.

They will be available in black, and white color options as soon as September 29th for a price tag of $279.95. They are available for pre-order right now.

They share a similar design with the QC Earbuds, their design is a bit more oval though. They also feature a fin to secure the earbuds during workouts.

Bose claims that the Sport Earbuds have been completely re-engineered, they feature new drivers, new acoustics, a new design, and a volume-optimized EQ. as they are sport earbuds, they are IPX4 rated sweat and water-resistant. They also feature touch controls to control music playback, and calls.

The only key difference between these two new pairs of true wireless earbuds from Bose is ANC. However, the Sport Earbuds offer passive noise-cancellation through the same StayHear Max ear tips that we can find in the QC Earbuds. They will be available in three color options, black, white, as well as Baltic Blue.
