Cook also introduced us to all the new features that are coming to Apple TV and Apple TV Plus.

We got to see a teaser for one of Apple TV Plus shows which is “For All Mankind” by Ron Moore. The show is about the race to the moon between countries which we will assume here that they are the US and the USSR back in the 60s.

Apple was heavily criticized for not showing any trailers or videos of the new shows that are coming to the new platform so this was a good point for Apple.

According to Cook, the new Apple TV Plus service will be available this Fall but he didn’t mention any exact release date or pricing details.

Apple TV OS will be getting a new completely redesigned Home Screen with multi-user support which was long awaited. With the multi-user support comes a customized Up Next suggestions that will be different for each user.

TV OS will be getting full-screen previews of shows and movies which will appear on the top behind the icons.

Apple Music is also getting some improvements on TV OS. Now Apple Music will show lyrics to songs in sync to the music on TV OS. Cook described this with “This is really cool!”. Also, Apple Music will be personalized just like Apple TV, so users can enjoy their personal music.

Cook also revealed that Apple is extending the support for more gaming controllers, the list included two controllers which are Xbox One S and PlayStation Dual.

Finally, new screensavers are coming to Apple TV and TV OS, this time Apple is going underwater with some underwater 4K HDR footage in collaboration with BBC natural history unit that we got a peak of it on the stage.
