Murder Mystery is an American comedy-mystery movie directed by Kyle Newacheck and stars Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. The movie tells the story of a New York cop and his wife who decided to go on a 15 years-late honeymoon to Europe to add some spice to their marriage. On their way to Italy, they meet an elderly billionaire who invites them to a party on his private yacht. Things go wrong, and they end up as suspects in a murder that happened on the yacht. The movie was released on Netflix on 14th of July with no theatrical release. The streaming service reported on 18th of July that 30.9 million households watched the movie in the first 72 hours, which was the biggest opening weekend in the company’s history.

2.Pineapple Express (2008)

Pineapple Express is an American action comedy movie directed by David Gordon Green and starring Seth Rogan and James Franco. The movie tells the story of Stoner Dale Denton who is played by Seth Rogan, while smoking with his dealer, they accidentally witness a murder by a mob and corrupt police officer, and they are forced to run away. While on the run, Denton leaves his roach containing Pineapple Express, a rare strain of marijuana which can lead to them. The movie was released in 2008 and was a huge success. James Franco got nominated for a Golden Globe Award for his role in the movie.

3.The Hangover (2009)

The Hangover is an American comedy movie directed by Todd Phillips, The film stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Heather Graham, Justin Bartha, and Ken Jeong. The movie tells the story of four friends who travel to Las Vegas to celebrate the bachelor party for their friend Phill. The next morning, the three friends wake up in the hotel room with Phill missing, and no memory of what happened last night. Now the three friends have to go find their friend while hungover and with so little clues. The wild trip to find the groom before the wedding involves a lot of unexpected drama and funny moments. The movie was released in 2009, and then a sequel was released in 2011, and a third and final sequel was released in 2013, but none of the second two movies made the same success that the first movie made. All three movies are available on Netflix.

4.We’re the Millers (2013)

We’re the Millers is an American comedy movie directed by Rawson M. Thurber and starring Jennifer Aniston, Jason Sudeikis, Emma Roberts, Will Poulter. The movie tells the story of a local drug dealer who gets assigned a mission to smuggle some drugs from Mexico. The drug dealer convinces his neighbors to pretend to be his family and go to Mexico with him. The movie is full of humor and was nominated to 6 MTV Movie Awards and won two of them.

Dirty Grandpa is an American comedy movie. The movie was directed by Dan Mazer and it stars Robert De Niro, Zac Efron, Aubrey Plaza, and Zoey Deutch. The movie is about a young lawyer who is getting married to his Boss’s controlling daughter in one week. He gets to drive his grandpa to Florida for a Spring break full of parties and fun.  While Zac (the lawyer) is worried about his upcoming wedding, his dirty-mouthed grandpa is trying to show him how to live his life properly.

6.The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005)

The 40-Year-Old Virgin is an American sex comedy film directed by Judd Apatow, and it stars Steve Carell. The movie tells the story of Andy Stitzer, who is 40 years old, works as a stock supervisor at an electronics store, and he is still a virgin. Andy likes to spend his free time at home playing video games, and he is awkward around women. His friends decide to push him to interact with women more in order for him to lose his virginity. 8.Hot Fuzz(2007)

The movie tells the story of two police officers who are trying to solve a series of mysterious crimes in Sandford, a village in the West Country in England. In order to develop the script of this movie, more than 100 action movies were used as an inspiration. Hot Fuzz is the second movie in The Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy which consists of Shaun of the Dead (2004), Hot Fuzz (2007), and The World’s End (2013). All three movies were directed by Edgar Wright and written by Wright and Simon Pegg. out of the trilogy, Hot Fuzz was the most successful movie. Under hard circumstances, his boss promotes him into a field agent fulfilling his dream. Now Smart has to work the agent 99 with his inexperience, excitement, and enthusiasm. A spin-off was released on DVD under the title Get Smart’s Bruce and Lloyd: Out of Control just 11 days after the release of the parent movie. The spin-off events go simultaneously with the original movie’s event and allow the viewer to look at a different side of the story.

A sequel of the movie titled Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 was released in 2015.
