Nord N10 5G and N100: Everything You Need To Know

In July 2020, OnePlus has for the first time ever revealed a mid-range device that did not follow the features and specs of its flagships, the now-well-known OnePlus Nord. Yet, even though it has been only a few months since the phone hit the market in August, the company has announced two new follow-up mid-range models in the Nord series. Nord N10 5G and N100 are going to be available starting next month and are expected to both be more affordable than the first Nord device, so here is everything you need to know about them including a comparison of the most important specs.

Nord N10 5G

The first of two new OnePlus Nord smartphones is the N10 5G. As it can be concluded from its name, this model is going to offer 5G connectivity but at a more affordable price than other flagships available on the market. When it comes to internals, it offers 6GB of RAM, as well as 128GB of internal storage but is compatible with external memory cards. The display is going to be 6.49 inches and it will have a 90Hz refresh rate just like the first Nord. Of course, with a bigger display comes a bigger battery as the new N10 5G is still going to have a 4,300mAh battery accompanied by Warp Charge 30T. The front camera is a 16MP punch hole on the top left of the display, while on the back you can find a quad-camera setup including a 64MP main lens, as well as ultrawide, macro, and monochrome lenses too.

Nord N100

Following is the Nord N100 model that is much more affordable with a few setbacks when it comes to features including lack of 5G connectivity. Even though it has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage, it still does have a pretty good display with 6.52-inches supported by an even bigger battery of 5,000mAh. It still does support fast charging, but only up to 18W unlike the previous model. Both devices have fingerprint sensors on the back, as well as dual-speaker systems. Another big change in N100 model is the triple camera sensor with 13MP main lens combined with portrait and macro lenses. Of course, it is important to understand that the target consumers of these devices are not the same as those of the new OnePlus 8 or 8T and are a more affordable option for OnePlus enthusiasts that can’t afford or don’t actually have a need for many of the premium features offered with the latest flagship series.
