Sennheiser PC 373D Gaming Headset offers Dolby Surround 7.1 But!
Sennheiser known as a great creative manufacturer of headphones and microphones, and when you combine both of the fields into a gaming headset, you might expect it to give you the best it can, but that’s didn’t happen with Sennheiser PC 373D.
PC 373D support Dolby Surround 7.1 Audio technology integrated in a gaming headphone but the sound does not sound as good as expected so, how does it work and what happened here to not deliver what was expected?

To define The Dolby Surround 7.1 tech in a simple way, it’s a way to deliver omni-directional, immersive sound. It’s best experiences was in home theater systems, living rooms or large spaces that transmit sound before it reaches the listener’s ear and it’s like the sound effects of the music around.
When you experience Dolby Surround 7.1 Mode, you’ll notice several missing sounds in the music. Whatever you change the sound settings and choose another preset settings, there are some missing tunes that differ from the stereo Mode there, and you feel like it’s replaced with a sound mode dedicated for big rooms rather than a gaming headset.
There was no obvious change when i use the companion software settings for the headset on Windows and although Windows 10 has recently added support for the Dolby 7.1 sound, which is supported for headphones / equipment that comes with dolby tech, PC 373D showed no noticeable differences in sound improvement comparing to the sound provided In stereo mode.
The experience was a little weird and when I disabled the Dolby audio mode and relying on the stereo mode, i felt will that everything is superb and the surround sound was clear with video games.
The microphone offers high-quality fidelity that shows its power when recording audio clips and you can count on them daily. But if you’re doing high-quality videos and using the microphone to stream YouTube videos, you might be using dedicated one..
Design
The quality build and design is impressive but does not reflect the same quality of the German company luxurious touch in some of the previous products such as Sennheiser Momentum.
There is Several types of plastic are used in the audio wheel and headband. features an awesome red Velvet color on the ear cups as well as a black head cushion with a very comfortable design that you can wear for long hours.
